About Me

There are not very many dull moments when it comes to raising 4 kids. But I have found that being able to capture some of the big areas of their lives is a great creative outlet for me!

My husband and I live in a small town in northern Michigan with our 4 children. He grew up here, and I grew up on the boarder of Michigan and Ohio, near Toledo, OH. We met at a College and Career Activity at my church in Ohio, where is brother was one of the assistant pastors. We dated for about 9 months before we were engaged and then married 6 months later! Now we are going to celebrate our 14th anniversary this year!

Now, we are Youth Leaders at our own church for grades 7-12. During the week he drives truck for a local Fuel Oil and Propane company while I stay home with our kids. Our oldest 2 go to school at a charter school not too far from us. My younger 2 stay home with me while I try to take off with my small photography business.

My hopes and dreams would be to have my own studio one day. I have my eye on an old unused building in a cute downtown about 5 miles from our house. I love its big windows and cute location. Every time I drive by I think how awesome it would be to have my own studio there!

I have worked on several Senior Photo Sessions, Family Sessions, Pregnancy Announcements, Maternity Sessions, Newborn Sessions and Weddings! Most recently, I even did a Product Shoot. That was a lot of fun too!
